Cazeneuve ne rendra pas obligatoires les équipements par grand froid

Bernard Cazeneuve a estimé lundi qu'il fallait "inciter les automobilistes � s'équiper" en cas de grand froid, mais a exclu de rendre obligatoire la généralisation des équipements d'hiver.

Le ministre de l'Intérieur va demander de "mobiliser une inspection générale conjointe", � ce sujet, aux ministères des Transports et de l'Intérieur, a-t-il expliqué sur BFM-TV/RMC, "pour voir s'il y a des éléments dans la réglementation existante qui peuvent être modifiés" ou "adaptés". Il n'y aura rien d'obligatoire, a-t-il insisté en réponse � une question sur ce point précis.

"Beaucoup d'automobilistes ont pris la route ce week-end pour se rendre � la montagne en période hivernale (...) sans prendre aucune précaution" d'équipements adéquats. "Il serait raisonnable de regarder les conditions dans lesquelles on peut, de façon préventive, (les) inciter � mieux s'équiper", a-t-il ajouté.

Par ailleurs, concernant le bilan de la sécurité routiî 2014 qui devrait être caractérisé par une hausse d'environ 5% du nombre de morts et un chiffre de celui des blessés "plus important", a dit M. Cazeneuve, il faut "prendre un panel de mesures qui seront annoncées en janvier".

Il ne les a pas détaillées mais a promis une augmentation du nombre de nouveaux tests salivaires de détection de drogue "avec des résultats plus rapides", des opérations des forces de l'ordre sur les axes accidentogènes ou des "contrôles plus systématiques".

"Il faut être beaucoup plus dur" et "sévère" avec "ceux qui mettent la vie d'autrui en danger" mais il "faire aussi de la prévention".
